Choose tour Operating System and Go

You may have to format the cameras disk to work with windows vista. Try that by pluging in the camera and open my computer up look for the camera should be there in the window try to open the camera from that location first, If it opens up date drivers if not let me know whats happens when you plug it into your computer. yes it is a webcam too, and the quickcam pro 4000 is completely different.

I don't have the softwear for logitech 510 what can I do?

i dont think logitech have yet released a driver which makes the camera compatible with windows vista. I too have a clicksmart 310 and have been on the logitech website many times but they still have no drivers.

make sure the terminals the batterys go into arent dirty, thats usually one of the main reasons a camera wont function. hopefully it works out, good luck

as a rule of thumb for most usb devices... install the software first, and the installation will prompt you when to connect the usb device to the computer. If no success, try using one of the usb plugs on the back of the computer.

i found my webcam but i cant get a software for windows vista

It happens due to write/read issues, Best thing I can suggest backup if you have video in Harddrive and perform format.
