Unfortunately this model of router has no support for directly connecting anything other than a printer that already supports Ethernet.

Since that's not the case with most consumer printers you will need to buy a "Print Server" These are made by all the main manufacturers, and come with a collection of interfaces, USB / Parallel of the printer, and Ethernet or WiFi of the network side.

They all pretty much do the same thing so go for one that meets your needs.

the router will give you a private address , that is the functionality of the router, the problem is not with your connection, try to upgrade the latest firmware inthe router and reconfig the router in a pppoe mode that will fix your problem..

This happens due to user restrictions on your router make sure the user name and passwords.

If u forgot them u can reset the router by pressing the reset button on router. After some time the router will start and u can access the router with default passwords.

Which Linksys router do you have? Model number. What error message do you get? try to connect the computer to the router with the ethernet cable and login to Linksys router setup page. Check the internet connection settings. Linksys router login

3. In the Select Product Category page, select "Wireless Adapters" from the drop down menu under "Network Adapters"
4. In the Choose The Device Wireless Adapters page, go to the drop down menu under the first image in the second row & select the model bumber of the device listed on the bottom of the adapter or near the top as well.
5. In the next page, in the section "How to find your version number?", select your version number & download the driver

This is something to try:

Download drivers for your wireless device from this website. Afterward uninstall your wireless adapter. Then re-install it using the drivers you just downloaded. That should repair the issue(s), if not let me know and we'll take a look at other possibilities.
