The noise is because of the mechanics of the printer you have to open it and you will find one dashly is partially broken or not fixed so change it or fix it.

If you haven't solved the problem yet, most likely you will have to send the unit in for repair. When you first power up the unit the system goes through a self test. "light on then off then on again"
