It is telling you something is wrong! Check your manual for what the warning light signifies and take appropriate action. Look under troubleshooting. Also check out support at web site for manufacturer.

Take the gaskets out again. warm them in very hot water for 5 mins before refitting them on the opposite door. Then adjust the hinges to check. Also make sure the shelves are pushed right the way in, not keeping the door open.

Be sure turbo cool is not on and if that is not it, you may need a new thermistor

the complete ice maker will need to be removed from freezer because the thermistor comes on the new tray that you will replace.

Have you tried cleaning the condenser coil. They are located at the bottom of the unit and have a fan blowing them. As clean as possible is very important to operation. Let us know about this step. Roger

There are a few different problems you could be having on the defrost cycle. First you will have to check defrost thermostat and heater. Unplug connectors from both ends of element and ohm, if it doesn't read through it is bad. Then ohm defrost thermostat, it has to be cold "below 40" to have a closed circuit so that it will read through. The best way to check it is when it is covered in ice. If it reads through when below 40 degrees it is good. After that it will be to the defrost timer or if it has power board. If there are no wiring problems it will be board or defrost timer. There is a release button on the side usually. You ae to push it in to realign try.

if the temp. in the refrigerator side is 20f, its to low, set the ref. to 40f and freezer to 0f.

you do not leave them alone they may have refrigerant flowing through them. look in your owners manual/instructions for more info.
