LG Kitchen Ranges - Recent Questions, Troubleshooting & Support

The lock and unlock works well for the 4 - 5 button problem. However the "start" button failure is another problem altogether. I had this problem and found that the ribbon connector attaching the membrane switches to the circuit card (PWB) is where the problem lies. The ribbon cables (two of them) are connected by a pressure contact connector mounted on the PWB. This connection method is less than robust. the fix is to pull the ribbon from the connector, clean it carefully with a paper towel and some alcohol, and reconnect it. To remove the cable the connector has a small flange that pops up about .05 inch whn you pull on the connector. Once it pops up gently pull the ribbon cable out of the connector. To replace it just push the ribbon back into the slot on the top of the connector and snap the flange back down. I strongly suspect this connector will get dirty again every couple years as the oven vent fumes are not properly prevented from partially passing over the PWB right where these connectors are mounted.

Hello, Stephen - Call you local Lowes and find out if they will send a repair person to fix the range. They may wish you to produce the sales receipt for the range to prove it is under warranty. Best wishes

Hi, an f11 code means it's taking too long to heat up. Problem is most likely a worn bake ignitor. It's not drawing enough amps to open the gas safety valve. Call your local repair company. Hope that helps.

LG had a recall awhile back because the control panel touch control switch was right over the oven vent (on the right side) and use of the oven made it randomly cycle lock/unlock+ ding all night long for weeks.
Throwing the breaker off for the night was the only recourse, besides having LG replace the control panel.

I found that it would eventually fix itself (!), but come back at some point here and there, and then disappear weeks later.

To remove the door on the LRE3023ST, fully open the door. Pull the hinge locks down towards the door frame to the unlocked position; you may find a flat blade screwdriver helps to lever the locks to start the process. Grasp the door at the sides near the top with both hands. Tilt the door up to about 5 degrees from the closed position. Lift the door up and out until the hinge arm clears the slot where the hinge point locks onto the oven frame on both sides. Put the door down. This is shown on page 32 of the Owner's Manual. LG has this on the product support page: https://www.lg.com/us/support-product/lg-LRE3023ST#manuals . The direct link to the manual seems to be http://gscs-b2c.lge.com/downloadFile?fileId=KROWM000460684.pdf . I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

Look at the back of your range there should be schemetic for your power control board. look for defective burner wire going into relay. There should be 5 relays in rows. Realy is the problem. I had the same problem with my front left burner stuck on high.
After replacing everything works okay.
