Code (CH) (01) on front panel, what does it mean?

I believe it is a water tank code. Re-seat the tank, unplug wait 15 seconds and replug the power cord and see if this resolves the error. Background relating to other possibilities. When the water bucket reaches its capacity, the bucket switch opens to shut off the dehumidifier. If the bucket switch fails while it is open, it will prevent the dehumidifier from running. To determine if the bucket switch is defective, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the bucket switch does not have continuity, replace it.

My LG model UD701KOG3 Dehumidifier does not shut off when the desired set level is reached.

The bucket is drained continuously with hose connected - no need for "full" sensing

LG LD450EAL no power

Try resetting the GFI breaker, assuming it is connected to one. Also check the main breaker panel to make sure the breaker is not tripped. Unfortunately the electronic panels do go bad in these systems after a few years of service. Try resetting the unit. There should be a tiny reset button on the back. Also if the bucket is full it will not turn on, make sure it is in place and seated properly or it will not turn on. There may be a reset on the cord itself as well, hope this helps.

Bucket full light is on, but there is no water in the bucket

I had the same problem. For me the fix was to take all the covers off, remove the bucket switch, clean the contacts on the switch, and i poured alcohol all over the switch and repeatedly pressed on the actuator . I dried it all off, put everything back and it worked again like a charm.

Discharge air is HOT!! - not cool

A Dehumidifier will not cool your basement, just make it seem cooler at the same temp. Your dehumidifier may be undersized even for that purpose. You need an AC outlet of a central AC in your basement, or a window unit if there are windows. Warm air at discharge is normal.

No water collects in our LG LHD45ELY7

It can be recharged but you would first have to locate and fix the leak and then refill. Then add a schraeder valve and refill at the port till suction line is cold to touch and starts to sweat. That's it!

My LHD45ELT8 LG humidifier does not keep up with

A dehumidifier works like a low powered air conditioner where a fan draws air through a refrigeration unit which cools it and condenses water vapour and collects it in a container. There is likely to be at least one air filter so some cleaning of the air takes place and such filter(s) will need attention periodically and in addition most manufacturers claim their products need servicing every 3 years. Best results will be obtained when the room is closed and ventilation minimal and the capacity of the machine is more than adequate for the space where it is sited. A room with an open window or where the door is opened frequently is not really a suitable site for a dehumidifier. It is important to choose a machine that is somewhat too large as efficiency will fall between service intervals. It is quite possible a manual for a different but similar model by the same manufacturer will provide some useful information...

How do i make it

Attach a length of garden hose no longer than 5 feet, to the threaded drain hose connection that was supplied with your unit, to carry water to the drain.
1. Remove the drain-hole cover on the back left side of your unit.
2. Connect a garden hose to the threaded drain hose connector.
3. Push hose connector tightly to the drain-hole on Rear Grille with the arrow on the tab pointing UP.
The hose attachment will accept a standard garden hose fitting.
Do not over tighten the hose when connecting it to the hose connector,
use a rubber washer and tighten by hand firmly without stripping the
plastic threads.
When being attached to hose connector drain hose connection,
do not bend or kink the hose. The hose should lie flat from the
dehumidifier to the drain.

Why does it beep when plugged in?

as there are two control boards in ac units ( split systems) and one in a window unit it could be the inside board ( they do not suffer power surges to well or vermin infestations at all ) before you waste more money I suggest that you get a technician in to determine the fault and if parts are readily available.
