You will have to contact the administrator of the computer to change it for you. You have been blocked from using it. The Admin is the only one who can unblock it for you. Whether it is someone in your home or at your workplace or your ISP Internet Service Provider

Reset could mean one of several things. I assume you know how to simply reboot it. If it is hung you can hold the power button down for about 6 seconds to turn it off.

If you forgot the password, contact Lenovo support at http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/
Provide them with proof of purchase and original receipt to prove ownership of laptop.

If you want to restore factory defaults then installed on the ThinkPad T500 is a program called Rescue and Recovery, which helps you diagnose and fix problems with the Windows operating system. To access this software, reboot your T500 and press the oval-shaped blue ThinkVantage button -- located on the upper-left area of your keyboard -- when the ThinkPad logo appears. When the Rescue and Recovery menu appears, choose the option that describes what you want to do. Follow the directions on the screen to run the appropriate action.

The sl500 includes 4 buttons on either side of the touchpad. The buttons on the right side of the touchpad are designated for a right-click by default. The menu key may also be used to simulate a right - click.

Near the power button there is a smaller button. Instead of power press this button and a menu will appear. You just have to choose BIOS Setup or Boot menu if you just want to change the boot order.

From what I could see from the Specs of Lenovo SL410, it only takes a 3.5 mm Microphone Plug. You could always use a 3.5 mm Stereo Audio Mic Jack and use Software like Audacity for Stereo Audio Recordings.

Hello,
I suggest you uninstall Lenovo Quick Launch, reboot your PC and then reinstall it. I have included a link to Lenovo Canada where you can download the Lenovo Quick Launch software. Please also install any available updates for Windows - start-all programs-windows update.

This is one way to test your webcam under Windows 7 and 8:
  • Start up your PC and make sure your webcam is connected.
  • Doubleclick the exe file.
  • Select the right camera and click Connect.
Done, you will see the picture of your webcam.

Note: If you get an application error when running the program, you have to install .net Framework.
