You can reset a lost or forgot Windows password with 4 methods below:

1. Another valid administrator account which can normally log on.

2. A password reset disk or a repair disc, which is created in advance ( before you lost password ).

3. Third-party software to create a bootable password reset CD/DVD or USB, like Windows Password Breaker.

4. Re-install. Will lose data.

Remove the battery from the ThinkPad and press and hold the power on button for approx 5 seconds. Replace battery and then try again.

Yes. The power supply should provide 19 volts continuously when plugged in. You can get replacement ac adapters pretty inexpensively on eBay. Make sure that the wattage (and/or "mA" rating) of the new adapter is equal to or greater than the current one.

Also be sure that the connector is the right size for your laptop. Most suppliers have a compatibility checker on their webstore to make sure that the connectors are compatible.

This is a system board POST/BIOS error code (nothing todo with Windows). The ERROR 210: is a standard POST (Power On Self Test) errormessage that indicates an error with the keyboard. The error condition is thata keyboard scan code was received from the keyboard when none was expected,after the keyboard was reset. If this occurs most of the time when you power on yoursystem, then it indicates that a key is sticking down or the key mechanical orelectrical parts are broken. Sometimes blowing out and cleaning out around thekeys will resolve this problem. Otherwise, you need to replace your keyboardwith a new (or at least a working) one.

Oddly, I did find a page offering recovery discs for such a system. Go figure you can find recovery discs but no manuals. You might try Lenovo support and see what they say. Sorry.

I would remove the corrupt drive and connect via USB to another computer running Win7. See if the computer sees the drive. If it does, put it back in the laptop and try booting again. If not, go to Control Panel, disc management and create a drive letter. Doesn't matter what it is. It should then boot OK. If not, replace the drive.

The port replicator needs to have the drivers installed in order for it to work properly. If this was not done, you will need to do it. Windows does not have the correct drivers for it.

I would suggest installing CCleaner and letting it clean your pc for you. It is a safe program that does a good job.

It sounds like a stuck key on your keyboard. You can try dusting off the keyboard with compressed air. If you see any dirt or debris you can try to remove it gently from the keyboard. You may have to replace the keyboard. If that is the case you can replace it yourself or have someone competent do it for you.
