The switch that turns on

I'm sorry, but we don't sell any parts or appliances here on FixYa. We simply provide information on how troubleshoot and/or repair many things. With that said, I can tell you, from what you described, you need more than just and ON/OFF Switch, if in fact, it "burned out". Something else electrically is wrong with your electric fireplace-heater to cause that.

Unfortunately, you failed to mention the Model Number of your Charm Glow Fireplace, so I can't steer you, to where you may be able to find a replacement switch. If you can provide that information, I may be able to help you.

I have china electric fireplace

There are no fuses to look for. Just overload circuitry. However, before you do anything else, turn the Master Control ON/OFF Switch to OFF. Unplug the fireplace and wait 12 to 15 minutes, before plugging it back in. This will give the circuity time to reset itself. Once it;s plugged back in, turn on each function one at a time to see if it works. If it does, problem solved. However, if having to reset the unit becomes more frequent, contact the Technical Service Dept, of the manufacturer.

Hope this helps you to solve the problem.

Light for flame went out.

Remove the firebox glass (actually it's plexiglass) and set off to the side out of the way. Now, Remove the logs from simulated burner and set off to the side out of the way. The glowing coal effect plastic panel under where the logs were, should lift out, exposing the 60 watt, small base, chandelier bulbs, They unscrew counterclockwise from their individual holders. Replace the bulbs and reinstall everything else in reverse order, from the way you took it out. Caution: Be sure the Master On/Off Switch for the fireplace is in the OFF position, before starting any work on the fireplace.

Hope this helps you to solve the problem.

The electric fireplace insert has

It may be that the heater overload switch is shutting it off, because of overheating. Especially, if the heater is used a lot and is a year or more old. You can try to reset the overload switch by unplugging the unit for 10 - 15 minutes. Then plugging it back in again. If that doesn't solve the problem, you need to contact the manufacturer's Technical Service concerning this issue.

Also, cleaning the heating element with a vacuum that has a hose and brush attachment may help solve the problem. As the heating element may be clogged with dust and lint.

Hope this helps solve your problem.

We have a Marco fireplace and the damper does not

when the gas logs were installed the vent damper should have disabled. it sounds like this was done.it is unsafe to close the damper with gas piped into the fire place. sometimes a "u" block will be placed over the damper blade. if the gas has been removed and not piped into the firebox anymore it would be safe to remove this

When we turn the remote

Have you changed the batteries in the hand-held transmitter? If not, that may be the problem. Be sure you use fresh batteries out of the package and not recycled ones. If changing the batteries does not solve the problem. Unplug the fireplace from the electrical receptacle and leave unplugged for 10-15 minutes. This will allow enough time for it to reset itself.

Hope this solves your problem.
