I have no power supply cord for my labtec lcs-1030

On the back of one of the speakers, there will be 3 plugs; a green one, a grey one, and a black one. The black one is the power plug. Right below the power plug it says the voltage needed (I could only find one picture online, and it looks like it says 15v, which would be 15 volts). That number is the needed supply voltage, so search google for (number under plug) volt power adapter.

Windows vista ultimate doesn't recognize my

Being windows vista is most likely is a driver problem. Is it internal or external sound system, not the card that works. If the manufacturer does not have an updated driver by now you can set the device to work like windows xp and it should only effect that device. Also search the web there are driver packs out there for windows vista, keep in mind its all the drivers for everything on one large compressed file so it should be a large file size. Ultimately I would say upgrade to windows 7, its how windows vista should have worked. I have devices from windows 98 that work on win7 no problems. Vista was just very premature in its release. Hope this can help. Sorry for my bad spelling.

I have labtec LCS 1022

Try swapping the left and right speaker wires. If the left speaker now starts working, then your amplifier is the problem.

How do you setup the

you will need to connect your speakers to your computer then you will need to install them to your computer if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question exclamation mark? ! or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the (((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there also click start control panel sounds and audio devices select advanced there might be a tick in the mute box untick it click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar

then you are ready to position your speakers if you have more than 2 you might need to select stereo Speakers can be placed on floor stands, hung on wall brackets, or placed on furniture. Subwoofers typically sound best in room corners or near the left- or right-front speakers. The front three--left, center, and right--speakers usually sound best when positioned with their tweeters elevated to the same height as a seated listener's ears. In any case, try to keep the center speaker near the same height as the left and right speakers. You can place speakers on shelves or on/in a low cabinet or entertainment center. Some speakers are better suited to this arrangement than others. "Acoustic suspension" sealed satellites are the most appropriate. Next best are ported speakers--as long as the ports are located on the front of the cabinet. However, speakers with rear-mounted ports won't perform at their peak when placed inside a piece of furniture. As for the rear-channel surround speakers, they usually sound best when positioned three or more feet higher than the front speakers. However, high-fidelity DVD-Audio and Super Audio CD music will sound best when surround speakers are placed at the same height (ear level) as the front speakers. Hope this helps
