Hi That sound completely normal and not a fault at all, that is how they work.

Service lubrication new seals ? see site below loads of info pics etc

The boiler is tightened down via a big brass or plasitc ring which is threaded look on the page linked below

Hi your grind is to course and or your tamp is to loose. Even with the right grind and tamp water will filter down through the puck eventually. all the best

Hi, I have the same problem, i bought mine this summer so we have had bad luck , we call it mondaysamples here in sweden, im still investigating how to solv it, keep me updated if you are lucky, i will send you info if mine will be fixed /Peter

If you have tried different coffees and grinds then i would try different packing methods using a tamper to do so. Try packing very firmly to not so firmly and see if that works. Also you might find that you need a new double filter basket. I have seen this in quite a few machines where the holes in the basket can become very slighty enlarged from what they were originally and what this does is allows the coffee to flow through the basket too quickly and therefore leaving you with poor crema by not getting a good extract from the coffee.
