How to level

You asking how to Level the entire range? Most Like refrigerators have adjustable feet that need moving in the direction like a screw. You going to need a Level (duh!), some 2x2 wood, and a fulcrum(something to lift the oven up a little). BE SURE YOU HAVE A) REMOVE UNPLUG POWER B) GET ANOTHER PERSON TO HELP YOU LIFT! While gradually-slowly lifting oven place 2x2 by 6inches long under the oven on both sides. Now you can see the feet and start turning them and they will extend (clockwise usually). Once you do ONLY the front two, repeat the same for the back two. Now you can tell your helper by placing the Level every which way usually three different directions while you adjust the feet till they are level. If this person doesn't "Get It", Be nice and say thank you and find someone who does! (don't Use Your Wife, if married to one)

I have a kitchenaid oven that suddenly developed a very strong "plastic"/electric fire type smell the last time we used it. We turned it off and it went away eventually and we didn't think about it.

Sounds like it will not explode, but it surely may start a fire somewhere. I should recommend you to have someone unplug it ( if it can be unplugged) or turn off the circuit breaker if it is "hardwired " into the house or apartment. Please have it checked by an expert before you try to use it again. Be blessed.

Why won't the burner in my Kitchenaid gas oven stay lit?

Fro memory these have the igniter pack at the rear of the oven once you get the cooker out it's pretty easy to remove & replace it. If you are unsure ring the manufacturers service division they are usually happy to help.

Need part number for BBQ option to replace griddle

You will need the model number & serial number which may be on the back of the cooker on behind the plate under the oven door, then contact the manufacturer or agent. Reece HVAC are also a very good source to obtain parts from.

My kitchenaide oven kers206x won't work. lights comes on

I do not know your unit but it sounds like one of the fuses has failed if you have them. If burners work then probably the thermostat. This is just a guess.

Kitchenaid kera205pss convection oven feature not working

Beth, you either have a failed convection element, part number 9460769, possible bad terminal connection at the element or a failed oven control. A bad element is the most common failure. replacement instructions for a failed heater can be provided.

I have KitcheAid KERS 807, electric stove/oven range. Left lower part of ceramic stove top that has single/dual heater sizes is malfunctioning. Single one is still working but from recent dual does no

Either the knob has gone out or the burner element. I would test the knob first to see if there is current when turned to the large zone. If the knob is working, next would be to test the burner to see if the outer ring has burned out. I would guess more likely the control has gone out. Burners have less failure (typically).

Self clean and oven light

The latch is stuck halfway! Take your finger and push the latch all the way to the right until the oven light goes out. Now hold it there and press the self clean button. Let it start up for a few seconds then hit the off/cancel button and let go of the latch. It should hear it made a winding like sound as it goes back to it starting position.
