Repair control board for Kitchen aid KESC308LSS0

The problem is the solder joints on the white wire connector on the control board. If you unplug and carefully remove the control board and look carefully at the solder connections for this connector you will see that some of them are cracked or broken. One way to tell is to take a small screwdriver and gently push the pins as if to push them through the backside of the board. The faulty ones will move. Reposition them and resolder the connections. Problem solved.

Self clean and oven light

The latch is stuck halfway! Take your finger and push the latch all the way to the right until the oven light goes out. Now hold it there and press the self clean button. Let it start up for a few seconds then hit the off/cancel button and let go of the latch. It should hear it made a winding like sound as it goes back to it starting position.

Oven temperature way too hot

The ohm's on the temp sensor is adequate if measured at normal room temperature. Next check the wiring from the sensor connector to the control board for continuity. Also verify there isn't any corrosion on the connection to the board. If that is good, visually inspect the control board for burnt areas as that will be the only other component in that function. This control board is NLA but you may find one stashed in someone's old inventory.

Tappan series 110 the igniter is glowing but it wont lite the oven

Is the gas turned on at the stop valve behind the range? Assuming the gas is on, the igniter can glow but not actually be working properly such that the control valve does not open or the valve may be failed. There are electrical measurements for the valve and igniter and related circuit that can be made if you have a clamp on amp meter and a volt meter.

Its not your fault and theres nothing you did or could have done prevent this issue. You need to have the clock replaced to fix the error code. The clock on this model is the brains of the operations. Here is the part to order. There is also a video on that parts page to show you how to make the repair. All parts come with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

I have a model KGSS907XSP. It happened suddenly, the burners won't fire. It doesn't seem as though the igniter is kicking on for baking or broiling. We have sufficient gas flow to the range top.

You have a faulty spark module that will need to be replaced. Here is that part to order. There is also a video on that same page to show you how to replace the module. All parts have a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.
