Did you try unplugging it or turning off breaker to see if it will reset?

Check to see if power is reaching the fan motor. If not trace out wiring. If it does get to motor, check the bearings for excessive resistance due to crud buildup. And if the motor uses brushes check them for wear and proper contact with commutator. Look for blown fuse also.

Sometimes these can be fixed by unplugging it for a few minutes and plugging back in. I am assuming this is a gas top and electric oven. Verify the incoming voltage at the back of the range (not at the receptive but where it comes into the back of the range. I would look at your pressure. My guess is it is too high. The cooktop is designed to run 10-14 iniches water column which equals .36 - .5 psi. If you were running higher than this you could have damaged components in the cooktop.

Hello Joe Corney, Not giving a MODEL NUMBER makes this mostly conjecture... My personal experience with KITCHENAID does not inspire great confidence... (still REALLY angry) If it's NEW just ship the WHOLE THING BACK IMMEDIATELY... Else... Get on YELP... and start going thru "technicians" until you find one worth the trip... If the control boards have already been changed ... AND THE POWER HAS BEEN VERIFIED... repeat that process... Nothing about electric ovens is MAGIC...!! Pretty much replacing those boards eliminates the lock & Sabbath modes...!! If this is the UNIT I'm thinking... Hi, I think you have a cooling fan issue with your unit, if the thermostats are sensing the unit is too warm it shuts down. So if the cooling fans is not coming on is will happen also.
