Check for screws in the side and screws that fix the top panel to the front. Very often, you have to remove all the panels starting from the back.

May need a new thermocupler.

Put something underneath the front of the unit (like a magazine) so it tilts slightly this should allow the water to get to the condenser area and be evaporated out the vent.

Without a serial number you cannot look up on line what the unit age is. Have you cleaned the condenser coils on the bottom and back of unit?

It should be on a separate outlet because that one outlet your using most likely is in series which means it shares power with other sources like lights and other outlets.Maybe try an outlet in a different room using a heavy extension chord 3 prong grounded. You might want to read the circuit breaker labels and see what area is not being used much.
