You may have a break in the wire. You can find out by slowing moving your fingers down the wire until you notice sound coming from the subwoofer. You can fix it yourself by cutting about an inch away from the break both ways. Then cuttings some of the wire off, so the copperwire is exposed. then wrap the two copperwire ends together and seal it with elections tape. or Try replacing the 60 watt subwoofer wire.

The 3 RCA type connectors (red, white,black) are all pre-amp outputs, not inputs. (Cut the girl some slack) the black is for the subwoofer. The red and white are pre-amp outputs for either up converting from a 5.1 to a 7.1 system, or for running a X.2 (2 subwoofers L &R). If you are running 2 subs, be sure on one of them to reverse the polarity.

Use the Variable Audio out jack.

Some TV's and hi-fi have the abilty to switch off the sound at optical links. Check all your settings.

My system wont turn on . what is the problem do you think?

doublecheck the paperwork for both the converter box and the universal remote. the universal may be too old to be used with your converter. look in the back of the universal's manual to see if your box's corporation has a code you can set.

Check on Ebay. They seem to have a few of them.

check the museum they got the remote so they can help with your personal jvc

Audiovox stereo2151 cd player spins but won't play

you will need a line-level converter to use this subwoofer- it is a rectangular-shaped box with wires coming out on one end and red-and-white RCA plugs one the other. The end with the wires coming out will hook to the receiver, and the other end will need to plug into the sub.

Likely the cd drive belt has given out and will need replaced.

First clean the laser lens

make sure your headphone jack is completely plugged into the jack, which must be stereo. you may have a faulty connection. which is possible to replace.
