It just stopped during use and seems completely

Replace the fuse located below the plug inlet on the mixer,(it is a 6.3A Fuse, 250V 5x20MM fuse from Radioshack) you have to remove the outer panel to access it. I did the same thing, it stopped working while I was mixing dough for bread, replaced it, good as new.

Doesn't work

I just fixed mine and it sounds like some of you may have the same problem. Problem was...Lights on top come on but when you push the start button, nothing happens. The problem was the upright position kill switch. First, to get the cover off... unplug the unit. Then, right next to where you attach your beater in the center of the round plate is an octagonal piece with a pin pushed through to hold the round steel plate with the beater holder. Punch the pin out and the beater holder will come off. Now you have access to two more hex (or star) screws like the two you can see under the arm of the unit. Remove these 4 screws (the two that are under the plate and the two you could already see) and the top cover will come off. Be sure not to yank any wires too hard as it is all electronic in there. Once the cover is off, have the mixer facing with the plug end to the right and the beater end to the left. Now, looking at the insides, on the far right and closest to you, you will see a small switch which should get pressed when the unit is in the down position. It should catch on a small piece of metal that is held in place by a small philips screw. On my unit, this metal piece which should have been in place to trip the switch when the unit was down had broken off. I took a very small piece of metal about 1cm long, drilled a hole in one end so the screw would hold it in place and then bent it 90 degrees, so when the unit was in the down position, this metal piece would trip the kill switch for the motor. Anything to trip the kill switch would work. If you can't figure out what to use to trip the kill switch, you could just wrap a piece of tape or something around the switch so it is always activated, but this would potentially be unsafe as the beaters would then run in the upright position. Fixed mine in about 15 minutes...cost...free. Hope some of you can do the same.

Mixer doesn't run

you can take it apart by removing the pin which is in the shaft that does NOT hold the attachments....... i got mine out with a nail set and a gentle tap or two with a hammer. after you remove that pin the portion that holds the attachments will slide down revealing three more screws and some gearing. if you remove those three screws....... the top will come apart (assuming you have removed the other four screws which are visible when the unit is assembled) and you will see the circuit board.
