Installed new impeller, seal, o ring and square o

the o ring usually would not fit if it were the wrong size. What seals is a ceramic seal, did you change that? If run without water, the ceramic seal will be damaged....

How do I remove impellor from a/o smith 7-181327-03 pool pump

If the impeller is fused onto the shaft by rust or mineral build up the chance you will be able to remove it with out destroying it are slim. You're likely going to need a new impeller and shaft seal kit, so I'd suggest getting them before your try to remove the old impeller.First you must remove the water/plumbing and the strainer basket assembly or pump faceplate if applicable to gain access to the impeller.Step two, on the backside of the motor (opposite side of impeller) you will find the back end of the motor shaft. This end of the motor shaft has a slot in it so that you can insert a large flat screw driver. This will help you to hold the shaft while you try and unscrew the impeller. fyi your pump might have a plastic housing on the back of the motor which you should remove to get to the back of the shaft. This is best way to remove the impeller but its likely to be a struggle if there is rust on the shaft. Good Luck

How to change the seals

Hi, If you haven't already figured out how to change the seals on your Jacuzzi Magnum Force pump, I can help by supplying a diagram. Here is the parts explosion for that pump.Start by removing the case/basket assembly, then the diffuser to get to the impeller. Loosen the impeller to get to the seal plate. When going to the trouble of changing the shaft seals one should change all the hosing seals at the same time because its a lot of work.

Pump stops running on high speed

You have a magnetek motor and it is overheating and cycling its thermal overload. A local electric motor repair shop may be able to fix it however it will likely need to be replaced. It is to costly to repair the motor if the damage is in the windings.

Assuming at that low a horsepower it is 115V, the likely replacement motor is a catalog #BN37. We sell it for $157. You are usually better off replacing the seal when you replace the motor and most Jacuzzi pumps are either a 200 or 1000. They should be around $5.
