Where it shows the charge of the battery it keeps

Spot does the lights scroll from left to right or right to left? If they move from right to left then shuts down completely then the chair is in lockout or sleep mode. To unlock - turn the chair on and immediately press the horn button twice ( beep beep) This should get it out of sleep mode. Now if the lights are scrolling left to right then the chair still thinks it is being charged and the inhibit function is bad. You can call your local provider to have a tech check it or you can call Repair Xpress at 1-877-581-3733 to check it they have atech in your area to check it. Hope this helps

How do I take out the battery?

The seat has to be removed first. Becareful to not pull the wires out of the joystick, unplug the joystick if possible. The batteries (2 of them) are located under the black plastic shroud that is under the seat. Be sure to rewire and install the batteries exactly the way they were.

Ya i have one of them wheelchair it ran great till

Well if Medicare purchased your chair and it is 5 years or older you are eligible for a new chair. The problem with your chair besides batteries is a leaking plug on your gearbox attached to the motor. These cannot be fixed so it requires a new motor/gearbox assembly. Just as soon get a new chair because Medicare won't want to pay the costs of repair when you can get another chair. Hope this helps

Heavy steering on my s/h sungift 200,ok when

Hi Dave. I have had a few scooters that have had this problem. Most of them had the bearings tightened up to tight. Either the bearings on the steering column, or the bearings in the left or right stub axles. Just loosen off very slightly will help. Make sure that there is not too much movement in the bearings after adjusting them. Also give all the linkages a bit of a lube.
We are Invacare sales and service agents here in New Zealand, but I have never heard of this model.
Good luck. Neil.

One red light three green flash when turned on

Your chair has a motor problem. The code does not tell which side it is. Make sure both motors have the brakes in the drive position before turning on the chair. Also check that both motors are plugged into the main control module in the base of the chair.

Rubbing noise rear end but not all the time...

Hi.Most scooters use a steel key in each rear hub to drive the wheels. These often get noisy. As the wheel turns the weight is put on the key and then comes of as the wheel keeps turning making a noise each revolution of the wheel. To repair remove the rear wheels and wipe a thin smear of grease onto the axle and key. This will reduce the noise. Hint, loosen the bolts holding the wheel on before raising the rear end to remove the wheels. If you place a support or block of timber under the machine, be careful of the motor brush holders.
Other noises could be gearbox gears worn.
Good luck. Neil.

Scooter moves approx 10 feet then stops led flashe...

Hi. 8 flashes is a fault code for a motor fault. It will be either worn brushes in the motor or faulty connectors to the motor. This fault code means that there is no circuit through the motor. Probably time to overhaul the motor. Most mobility scooters have plugs and sockets that are really to small to carry the amount of current that they do. Because of this, they sometimes fail.Good luck. Neil.

Scooter stops short without warning

This could be caused by a couple of different issues. If your batteries fall to below 17 volts the unit will shut down. After it sets for a few minutes it may run again for a short time. If this is the case, then the batteries are not being charged properly or they are not holding charge.
Another cause could be the break switch circuit is opening. If that is the case, replace the brake/motor harness
