Things to try:

1. Plug in the ethernet cable then restart the laptop.

2. Right click on your local area connection and make sure its enabled

3. Make sure your wireless adapter is disabled.

4. Check if you need a static ip address on your work network. and if so have them assign you an ip address for your laptop.

5 Test your computers ethernet port on another wired network to make sure that it is good.

6. Get a usb to ethernet adapter for your laptop if your ethernet port is bad on your laptop.

You should have the sound driver for your PC in the driver disc.The drive Disc resides in the Box of the system. I don't have had the exact problem.If you don't have the Disc or a copy of the driver then you have to download itfrom website. So for your requirement visit http://www8.hp.com/in/en/support-drivers.html, then enter your product number and search the driver. You can download the driver from here and itis totally free of cost.

Hello, Tymofii - Apparently the Intel D945GTP is a motherboard for a computer. I have not found a manual for that motherboard. Instead, I found technical product specifications for it: https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/desktop-boards/945/D945GTP/D945GTP_TechProdSpec.pdf It is a PDF document, so you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader software (free). If you choose to download and save the PDF document to your computer, I suggest you give the document a file name you can find again easily . . . something like: Intel D945GTP Tech Specs . There are 3 different types of DVI output - DVI-I : DVI-D : DVI-A The motherboard in question uses DVI-D. The D stands for digital. VGA is analog, so in order to convert the DVI outputs on the motherboard, you will have to make sure you have an ACTIVE converter like the one in the link below. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16812400402 The converter that you have now needs to be an ACTIVE converter, or it will not display.
