Insignia Computers & Internet - Answered Questions & Fixed Issues
Hello, I have a Insignia NS-50DF710NA21 Rev.A tv that the backlights went out.
It's possible that the inoperable backlights are causing the pulsing effect on the screen. When the backlights are not functioning properly, it can cause the image to be dim and unevenly lit. This can create an effect where the image appears to pulse or flicker. It's also possible that there could be another issue contributing to the problem, such as a faulty power supply or main board.
To troubleshoot the issue, you can try resetting the TV to its default settings and unplugging it from the power source for a few minutes. If this doesn't work, you may need to have a technician take a closer look at the TV to diagnose the problem and make any necessary repairs.

My Insignia 42/43" TV suddenly will not power on. The little red light in the lower right corner keeps flashing 5 times and then pauses then repeats.
Something you can try is a power reset. Unplug the set from the electrical outlet. Once unplugged, hold down the power button for about 45-60 seconds. Once that time elapses, release the power button, plug back in, and try to power on. If the set responds, the Power supply is possibly getting faulty, in which case a repair may become necessary for continued use. If the set does not respond, it may be a issue with the power supply, or a fault on the main board itself, in which case a repair or replacement will be required.
This is on the Insigna web site

I lost my insignia tv remote, I am fine, but there are no external controls on the tv
Maybe is not a button you have to push, I've seen some modern TV sets which have places where you touch and is as if you pushed the button.... alternatively, you could:
1. Order a replacement with tv serial number.
2. Buy a universal controller (preferable one with a 'menu' button) this is actually the solution I like best, you could use for other devices as well and might be cheaper than original tv remote.

How can I fix my computer?
Realty LTD, the following depends on your company's policies but if you are allowed, first thing is to check for driver updates in both Windows Update option and device manager. For Window Updates, Control Panel>System and Security>Windows Update. You may see links for important and optional updates. Check in both and look for specific hardware related drivers, not windows security and os updates. If there are any only update those. Next check Device manager. Control Panel>System and Security>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Device Manager(on left panel). If there are any yellow yield signs and a carrot is open, right click it and select update driver. If none of this works please clarify further. Is the sound like a fan? Do you feel accompanying heat? Does it get loud only when using specific applications or is it all the time? Things like that.
