What is this small round hole for???
Although i have not seen your device specifically i looked it up and that unit if I am not mistaken has an option to plug a switching power adapter on it IF and only IF in case you might need it to power on additional devices. Some USB devices need more power than normal hence the adapter but any device that runs on its own power and small USB devices dont need such power then you do not need the external adapter ( Sold separately and not by the same company) Basically you are not missing anything dont worry if the unit works as it should then you are ok.
If you need further assistance just message me.
Still no sound
Ok, it sounds as if your trying to install zipped files; you can't
Remove your sound card, you should also dissable the onboard sound on your motherboard in the bios; if you have'nt already.
Go back to the folder you downloaded(which will be a zipped folder for faster downloading and security).
Right click on the folder as shown below and unzip using XP's unzipper.
When it is unzipped this is the folder you make Windows look to for the installation.
put your sound card back in and re boot.
If this does not work it is the wrong .dll or ini installation file.
Mouse problem
did u sync the new mouse is old dell ps2 port style new one usb right
Surround center speaker does not work
This is a 5.1 (6 Channel Technology) You should hear only the voice thro the center speaker. If the source you are playing is stereo, however the software splits the source its difficult to seprate the voice track, if the source is a DTS 5.1, then you should hear the voice only thro the center speaker. eg: when you play a DVD movie which is DTS 5.1 then you should hear only the voice track in the center speaker, if the dvd movie is just stereo then you will not hear any audio in the center speaker, while the other four speakers get output, this is the special effect in 5.1 ( 6 channel Output).
Actually I already tried that
Try another way around, right click your sound card in device manager and click update driver; forcing it to look wherever you have the setup.exe stored on your pc, the file you are using is probably not a manual setup, but has the required .ini or .dll file required for your card.
Software
Go to this web page and download equivelent driver for your operating system
