Testors Blue Mini Modelers Airbrush Compressor

Air compressors are rated for a maximum pressure and maximum output flow. Your description implies more air is going out of the compressor than it's designed flow rate. Check for a major leak at hose fittings or around the compressor. If this is an old unit, a compressor gasket could be cracked or broken.

How old is the machine and when was the last time it was serviced, more specifically when was the separator element replaced? The PRV you are talking about, im guessing you mean the one on the oil separator tank? (Where you put the oil in) If so, it sounds to me like the separator is blocked and needs replacing. When the air is compressed, it goes into this tank (with the oil) it then comes out of there, through the separator element to separate the oil from the air, to prevent the oil going into your system. If this gets blocked, the air is unable to go through the filter element and just keeps pressurising the separator tank, the PRV will release this pressure for safety.Replace the element then you should be okHope that helps

High temp discharge air

Try unhooking the sensor at the pump and sticking a paper clip into the plug terminals and see if it shuts down. If it doesn't then you have a bad sensor or it is overheating. Make sure it has plenty of oil in the system. Also check the scavenger line coming off of the air/oil separator to make sure it isn't plugged up.
