Is it making a humming noise? The color wheel is known to fail on that model. It is easily replaceable.IF you decide to fix it, yo can find many videos on youtube on color wheel replacement

First thing to do is unplug set for a while and plug back to see if issue cures with a reboot.General info:ISSUES: 1. IF sound main fuse/s are good.2. If no power or standby check main fuse, standby power supply and any signsof damage you can see---burnt parts etc.3. almost all these sets the troubleshooting involves checking voltages on the main power board to narrow down theproblem.4. Trouble shooting consists of the above and then at some point you have to buyand try a board to see if it fixes it or not.4. Did you find anything out about this? I have the same problem, just replaced original bulb less than two weeks ago and now have big black spot on screen.

If you read the manual the 5 blinks indicates that the bulb needs to be replaced.
