How to replace a burnt out light bulb in the Grundig 34CS micro oven and which kind of lamp I have to buy

Normally a 25 watt, SES (small edison screw) appliance bulb. They are normally accessed from a panel on the outside just behind where you see the light from the inside.Perhaps 'micro' doesn't mean 'microwave', but you put it in the microwave category.https://www.google.com/search?q=Grundig+34CS..Search is only bringing up Grundig Radio pictures.

Popcorn doesn't cook in my new combi oven. I'm on 1000W but the bag only half inflates after 3+ mins. Is it faulty or do I need to put the bag of popcorn on a plate? Has anyone else had this problem?

Definitely a Combi MICROWAVE oven? Popcorn needs a certain amount of moisture in it to 'pop'. 1000 watts of microwave should work fine. Make your popcorn, put it in a bowl and eat the popped corn. Put the un-popped kernels in a pan with a little oil and see if they will pop. My theory is that the bag or the corn is old. Make and model are always useful in such questions, then we can check specs.

WINE Enthusiast Model 268782801. It is new but we had it in storage for over the 90 day warrenty period. The cooler is chirping and has done so from the first time we pluged it in.

Possibly a noisy inductor or choke. I wouldn't think this will be an issue.

HOW TO REMOVE LIGHT COVER ON MODEL 729-1630 WAS BOUGHT IN THE EIGHTIES . FIRST TIME I NEEDED TO REPLACE A LIGHT BULB.

This is why we need full 'make model (what it is)'. :>) https://www.google.com/search?q=729-1630 The normal way is that there is a small door on the outside of where the light is. Generally one or two screws to remove the little door. Replace the bulb with the same type, a 25 watt SES Appliance bulb.

Microwave- plates keep breaking

First of all, be sure your plates SAY they are for microwave use or "microwave safe." Many are NOT. Second, be sure to place the plate slightly off-center on the turntable to ensure more even heating, and to prevent the center of the turntable from overheating repeatedly. More questions? How do you change the light bulb in outdoor light 68D44

Is your 68D44 lamp the Califa 21 1/2" high bronze textured outdoor post light, https://www.lampsplus.com/products/califa-21-and-one-half-inch-high-bronze-textured-glass-outdoor-post-light__68d44.html . There are four screws that hold the frame (the top section) to the body. These are close to the top of the body of the lamp. Once you remove the screws, lift up the frame part of the fixture. Now you can remove the bulb and put in a new one. Place the frame back on the body of the light and replace the screws. See the Figure 1 in the manual, https://www.lampsplus.com/products/califa-21-and-one-half-inch-high-bronze-textured-glass-outdoor-post-light__68d44.html# , to see where to locate the screws on the unit. I hope this helps. Cindy Wells

I was heating some vegetable juice in the microwave oven in a microwave safe cup when it exploded. Is it the fault of the oven? I'm afraid to use it again.

Did the cup actually break apart? That is caused by steam expanding in a crack in the cup. Never use anything that is damaged. Or exploded as in it 'erupted'. That is caused by a phenomenon where steam superheats at the bottom of the cup. Best advice is to heat in a see through Pryrex measuring jug, don't overheat it, and also leave a minute after the microwave turns off. You can also cook on a lower power, or cook on full power for a short time, and then move to Defrost Power, which is pulsed microwaves.

What could be causing my adavantium 120 to arc? I was melting butter in a glass bowl and it started arcing in the instant I started it

Determine the precise location of the arcing. Perhaps the container with butter had metal in/on it. Does this occur with a cup of water? It is likely at or near the mica cover over the microwave magnetron antenna. An accumulation of soap, grease, oil and food around or behind this shield will eventually cook down, and burn, as it converts to carbon. The element carbon is metallic and microwaves do not get along well with metals. Due to the close proximity of this shield to the magnetron antenna (usually less than 1/2 inch) the power is intense and arcing occurs. In a worst case scenario the metal band at the tip of the mag tube will melt, requiring the magnetron tube to be replaced. Gently remove the mica shield, inspect, clean any debris, re-coat burnt or bare metal with appliance touch up paint, allow to dry and reinstall the shield, While the shield is off also look at the mag antenna to spot any burnt of melted issues. A bright light and a small mirror are useful for this task. Mica is a delicate material and must be handled carefully - or replaced.
