Replace water fill float valve is letting water seep buy during freeze cycle and it will not make ice due to water too warm

There are three easy things to look for. First in the center of the ice grid there is a plunger rod that pushes the ice out. Need to make sure that is all the way in on start up. Second the ice curtain has a tab on the top right that has to be behind a metal switch tab that sticks through the side on the unit. Third on some units right in front of the water trough is a thin metal rod, that is actually the bin thermostat. If there is any ice laying on top of that rod it will shut the unit off at a full bin.

Make water supply is on if you have a water filter in place it may be clogged or if unit has a float valve youmay has trash in the line clogging it up

Untill the gas guage marks f for full or about 14 gallons

Water solenoid is bad and needs replacement. Unplug it and see if it still fills. If yes it's bad. If no, you have a bad timer.

Low pressure switch is usually in the control box which has a cap tube that connects to the low side of the system the timer can be bad but all a timer does is add a few mins to the end of your cycle but if you not making any ice you may have another issue

it will ice over on the evaporator if it has missed a harvest cycle this could be a hot gas valve or some control problem

It is going off on a safety limit. Either taking too long to harvest, or too long to make ice. When you switch on, the pcb will flash once or twice. The manual , or usually a printed sheet inside the lid, will tell you which limit has been exceeded and what the likely causes are.

Do you have a new one? Try comparing the values. There are several types of thermistor. Do you have the type number?

Could be several things and those under counter models are not the easiest to access for service. Unless you are a tech that I can walk through several troubleshooting procedures you are better off calling in a service company.

Does the compressor make any noise at all?

You can ohm out the compressor windings. I dont know off the top of my head which compressor manufacturer they are using but if it is Copeland you can get an electrical handbook and it will have ohm values for the compressor. If not assume the rule of thumb Common to Run is X, Common to Start is Y, Start to Run is X+Y, and Y should be 3 to 5 times whatever X is. On Rx10,000 scale check each terminal to ground should be open.

sounds like you may have a bad bin thermostat. If the unit thinks it is full it will no operate

check the water float that is how the unit deterines when the reservoir has enough water it could be stuck

HOW OLD IS THE UNIT, AFTER A WHILE THE NICKLE PLATING STARTS TO WEAR OFF THE PLATE WHICH WILL CAUSE THIS PROBLEM AND THEY ARE NOT CHEAP, ALSO CHECK ON THE BOTTOM OF THE MACHINE THERE SHOULD BE A CONTRPL THAT WILL INCREASE THE TIME OF THE RELEASE CYCLE
