Sounds like paper not feeding in on time, usually should pop a code, but you could try cleaning paper feed wheel with something like light cleaner, not something strong.good luck

Forget it HP.. has now found a way to recongnize when a cartridge has been jail broken and will not allow the printer to print. The cartridges have circuits imbedded in them so the printer can recognize the originals from the knock offs. it will be stuck in roller cleaner mode, that is mechanical. the only real way is to push it thether over to the left. with the power off the printer, then close the compartments and turn on the printer it can take 2 o3 goes as it will try to move it right. you have to get it off the clip that is holding it there. the cartridge is held in place to stop it moving while the roller is cleared.

Hello! As the manual of this device says Check the print cartridge to make sure you have properly removed its packaging. Hello Sande. Try cancelling the printer job via the control panel in Windows. Also open covers, including the top flatbed half, to view the paper path. There may still be a stray piece stuck in there somewhere. Does this help? Clive.

This type of line is cause by a scratch or smudge on the toner cartridge's image drum. You will need to replace the toner cartridge.

You may want to try the clean the printhead:

1. Press the Setup button.
2. Select Tools.
3. Select Clean Printhead.
