Either the door lock has failed or the wiring or the programmer has a problem. Removing the cabinet top should allow a view of the wiring, etc. Manipulating or removing the door lock from inside the cabinet isn't easy as often the retaining screws are accessible only when the door is open and carefully applied brute force is the last resort.

i only find e21 error for hoover washers...

Hoover suggests that the water fill valve(s) may be turned off. Error 2 means It cannot fill correctly according to their owners manual.

there are many models most common one has a bolt located at the bottom of the inside of the agitator remove cap to see it you will need several extensions,10mm socket and ratchet

I have a similar problem,
Have to slap the door to get it to start. I’ve changed the interlock but still the same... any suggestions? Could it be the door rather than interlock?

CL (child lock) has been enabled. To disable hold down the child lock button for 3-5 seconds.

You have faulty transmission or/and clutch. Clutch is on the bottom of the transmission , next to the pully.

You have had a leak. You can disconnect the hose and empty all the water out of it, then leave the hose in the sun to heat up, this will SOMETIMES reset the water stop, if not you will need a new hose.
