Oil for hobart n50

You need a special food grade oil. You can get it from any Hobart service company.

Hobart 450 chopper mixer

Im a hobart service tech and repaired these units often,the seal job is a pain in the ***.Everything has to be torn apart.Forget manuals hobart doesnt give them out but i can step you through it.

My Hobart D-300 keep stop after running about 10 minutes and stay idol about 5 minutes then I can push start button to run another 10 minutes, it seam like control unit stop after it getting over heat

If your mixer's motor was built by Hobart; there are thermsiters built in to the stator's windings that can cause this problem. Check the amp draw while it is running. Also if your are over loading the mixer or using the wrong speed,, that will cause an over heating problem. You should be able to get on the ITW Food Equipment Group / Hobart web site(s) and get capacity chart.
