make sure you reset the lamp timer. Manual has the steps. Hitachi Performa CP RS55 3 LCD Projector if the timer is reset, try cleaning the color wheel. Optoma HD20 Projector Cleaning this video is for an optoma but the color wheel is cleaned the same way in most DLP projectors. Dirty or dusty color wheel sensors cause the projector to shut down and act like its the lamp.
