How do I get and keep Lab Tech Software out of my computer??

LTSVC.exe is not originally malware or a virus but rather a scripting tool used in management of certain services. Just what is on your machine is in question. It is not clear to me whether you are on a home machine or in a work environment. If in a work environment, you might query your systems administrator as you are unlikely to be alone with the problem. That said, the direct removal is to go to the C drive, and in Windows, there, you will find ltsvc.exe. Delete it and reboot. You might run Malwaresbyte. Once upon a time, there was Malwaresbyte AntipRasomware Beta which might detect/remove this. Whether or not it still would, I don't know. There was a questinon whether the detection was a false positive at the time. If you want to give that a shot, here is the link to a download site for that. https://m.majorgeeks.com/files/details/malwarebytes_anti_ransomware.html

CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED

replace the hard drive with a solid state hard drive as it is failing while you have it partitioned , that is only 2 sections on the one disc and if the hard drive is failing , regardless of of the partitions , it will not read right If you will , consider partitions as different tracks on an album and if the player is broken then none of the tracks will play properly

How do I pull data off of an ATA hard drive? I have an old hard drive with pictures that I want to pull off. I purchased a USB adapter which said it supported ATA but it doesn't seem to be working

Does the ATA drive show up in Explorer? Can you hear it spinning? If not, your adapter probably requires external power, unlike the newer SATA drives which can be powered by the USB port alone.

My external hard disk is not detected, can I recover my data from it?

It all depends how comfortable you feel taking things apart. In external drives usually controller fails before drive. If that is the case, take housing apart, remove drive (depends on age it could be sata or ide type) and insert that drive in external docking station. If drive is ok and wasnt encrypted then you should be able to access your data.

No drives is showing in hard disk when trying to format in windows7

oldest question of all on any disc operating system or windows. HDD missing , is this the boot drive, 2nd driver or external USB or eSATA drive??? I can not guess this, but.... use DISK manager first, never just explorer.
  1. click control panel in the start menu.
  2. click admin tools nex.t
  3. computer management click.
  4. disk managment, BINGO all disk drives you have there.
if you dont see your drive there it is dead. if you do see it , make sure it has a driver, letter assigned. right click any drive to change drive letter, for sure not the boot drive.
