Normally , you would expect the TV sound to stop when headphones are plugged in. Obviously not in this case. If you have a set of headphones, try them and see if the TV still has speakers on. If it does, then there may be a setting on the setup of the TV to get headphones to work. If the TV speakers stop, then I would think that the Logitech are not compatible with the TV. The only other thing would be is to get into the TV and disconnect the TV,s own speakers. If the wires are soldered on and not terminal connected, carefully cut 1 of the wires off near the speaker. If 1 wire is cut, the speaker wont work. Make sure both the TV and the additional speakers (If they have their own power supply) you are using are unplugged from the power before you go doing this...!

Fault to the main power supply regulator section. Either it will be a separate board, or the part of main board. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.

Could be the switch is defect, or the power supply is defect, or the power cable is not good connected. The mains is dead or some other defect in the TV is keeping it from starting, just to name a few possibilities. Please consult a tech when you are sure the TV does get power.

I was looking for the same info on a Haier 10" HLT10 portable. Try 1481 and 1491. These codes were listed for an ATT-Uverse URC, however, they did not work for me on the portable.

Sounds like a bad cap, check the power supply's again, if you are yousing a multie meter you will not see power supply ripple try a scope or meter in the AC position for DC components this might show upbest regards Falco
