If you are using computer that is not your own, then you can google go to gmail.com and sign in. If the computer you are on already has a gmail account, then you will need to sign out of it first, before you can sign in to your own gmail account. In order to sign out of one account and sign in to another, follow these steps: 1. When you are in gmail, click on the icon in the top right corner. 2. Click on "Sign Out". 3. On the "Sign Out" page, click on "Sign in with a different account". 4. Here you should be able to access the gmail account you prefer, as well as delete ones that you don't want. Make sure that you sign OUT of your gmail account when you are done, otherwise, your gmail will come up on that computer as the default gmail account. Good luck! John

Signing out

If you choose to sign out of any account while using multiple sign-in, you will be signed out of all your accounts. To resume using multiple sign-in, you will need sign in to one account and then use the Add Account option to sign in to your other account(s).

It sounds like you are trying to access your old gmail account by signing on where you create a new gmail account. Instead of signing on that way, see if there is a place on the gmail page to "sign on with a different account", and proceed from there. Good luck! John

I take it your password isn't working. You need to change it to a new one. On the sign on page, 1. Enter your username. 2. Instead of entering your password, click on "Need help?" 3. The next page will help you get a temporary password, and then you can change your password to a new, permanent one. Good luck! John

You need to go to the gmail logon page and pick help. Then pick I don't know my password. Where it says To reset your password, enter the email address that you use to sign in to Google. This can be your Gmail address, your Google Apps email address or another email address associated with your account. So you can have the lost password sent to another email account, other than you gmail account.
