I HAVE AN EAGLE 4000
Most likely a bad battery which made the system loose the software. Small chance that the screen is bad. If you connect a pulse ox and you hear the hear rate it is a bad screen. If you don't hear it you will need to get a copy of the software and a new battery. GE does not support these anymore so you should contact a third party if you are not able to do it your self.

It keeps rebooting
when the battery goes completely dead it looses its software. The only way to fix this is if you have a copy of the original software and install a new battery. With these units it is a good idea not to leave them unplugged for a long period of time. It is a good way to loose all the data.

What do they mean by low heart rate?
The normal heart rate is really an average heart rate, around 80 beats per minute. Many things can make it go faster or slower, including activity, medication, drugs, exposure to insectisides or mushrooms and others. A slow heart rate is called bradycardia, usually around 60 beats per minute. Sometimes the electrical nodes in the heart which help to make the heart start a new beat quit or work incorectly. In these cases medication or a pacemaker are required. I hope this answers your question.
