how old is the ps2? could be getting very old and worn. may need to replace it. Or if youre tech savy take it apart and replace the hard drive and cpu/gpu. try cleaning the disk also.

use your search engine eg Yahoo or Google Type in "download games" and see what's out there

it depends on what you mean. If you want to get games from an electronic device, there is always an app store. And if its on a laptop, there is a chrome app launcher, that has a chrome web store where you can find games/apps. If it's an iphone/phone or something, there is always, like i said before, an app store. I hope this helps...xDD
