is there any clinking noise as it shuts off? I have an acer laptop that does the same thing. seems like the harddrive is not responding to the start command right away. that's a tough one

It is probably easiest to talk to your new provider about the problem. They should help you with the settings. Just be aware of your operating system details and describe the problem indicating your system is defaulting to the old provider's mail server and that of course is not working for you. Could be that the chip that works with the wi fi net work has gone fubar. Happened to me and had to return laptop.

Yes if it's just Bluetooth you're trying to get to work by a new BT dongle. Your system might be going into Standby. Check the settings in the Control Panel for Power.

Hi, A wireless hard drive? Wouha, you're lucky... 1. It's possible that the wireless adapter is disabled in the bios -> enable it. 2. Maybe it's only disabled in the device manager -> enable it. 3. It can be that the drivers for the adapter aren't installed -> install them. Hope helps.
