Up , i also encountered the same problem 3 days ago. 42" Fujitsu Plasmavission. I'll try to call an expert, i hope its not a digital board again for me, it will cost around $2,000usd so better buy a new Korean made LCD for better and cheaper parts. I guess you also experiencing trmendous heat at the back of your plasma right?

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. There is no such reset to this remote control. Just take out the batteries from its battery compartment, and re-insert it after a minute. The remote control will reset itself.
