Call the Fujitsu service 800 number, you may still be under warranty.
It sounds like the inverter has burnt out, take it to a Fujitsu authorized repair shop, your tablet has a security feature that will lock you out if it is opened by an unauthorized repair shop or anyone else for that matter.
They take your tablet security very serious.

They automatically lockup as a security precaution, aren't you glad you saved some money?

Take out the memory and then install the memory one stick at a time in each slot one at a time. Make sure to turn on the laptop after each stick reinsertion to see if you get video.

If you don't get video then go ahead and take out the hard drive and dvd drive as well. Now try turning on the laptop, if you still don't get video then the motherboard is bad and would need to be replaced.

My laptop turns off when it is not plugged in.

It is probably the "Powersave" function that turns off the machine when it is only on battery power and is not being used for a certain length of time. Also if the batteries are not charged properly, the laptop will want to shut down as the power level is becoming critical. So there are two possibilites 1. change the Powersave function and/or 2. drain the batteries entirely and re-charge fully before using them. I have found that batteries work better when they are used entirely before recharging them, so I actually have the Powersave function turned-off. There is probably a Fujitsu Powersave facility that is integral to the laptop, in addition to the Windows one, whether the Fujitsu one controls the Windows one, I'm not sure.

Space bar sticks

If you can get the space bar button off without messing up the button or the tactile underneath it then get if off and with a damp cottonball with glass cleaner wipe off the button and then wipe off the area where the plastic tactile is. As long as you can press on it and have it go down and come back up then the tactile and area is clean.

Important thing will be to get the button to go back on properly.

If your having problems with getting the button off and don't want to go thru the cleaning process then replacing the keyboard would be the 2nd option.

Operating system not found

That error message just indicates that the syswtem tried to do a network boot and couldn't since it did not detect an Ethernet cable connected to the port. Apparently your hard disk has died and needs to be replaced or your BIOS settings have changed and your hard disk is no longer in the boot order. Check your BIOS settings to confirm.
