Cooling fan is not working on Frigidaire stove. Is it ok to use the cooktop?

If it is the fan under a ceramic flat top, no, because its purpose is to keep the control boards cool. If it is the oven fan, yes no problem.

Frigidaire Gallery Convection Oven

My advice is never to use the Self Clean function. We see broken door locks, burnt out elements and fans every week. Even a control board melted a couple of months ago. They actually go up as high as 880'F! This page shows the door lock.

4 Solid Reasons to Stop Using Self-Cleaning Oven ...

https://fixappliances.ca > 4-reasons-stop-using-self-clea... A self-cleaning oven is a feature on many modern ovens that burns off cooking spills and splatters with an extremely high temperature (932 F° or 500 C°) to ...
The buzzing you heard sounds like the door lock failed. What you can do though is try turning the power off overnight to see if you can erase its memory, but you probably need a new lock mechanism. ..

Frigidaire Laundry center replace central board and washing selector board but it's not working.

For that many issues and for the amount of money you spent, you need to call out a technician who knows this machine. Sometimes, you just have to let the pros take over. Burnt cables is never a good sign as it can take everything with it.

Hi. My ES510 Frigidaire Gas Range, lost all electric power. I have no Display, ignition and Oven not working. Do you know which parts I should change?

If it is a gas range, it has a standard electrical cord and plugged outlet. The first thing to do it to check there is power at the outlet by plugging in an item known to be working, like a kettle. Page 33 has some troubleshooting tips, but nothing about no power at all. It does have a locking feature. https://content.abt.com/documents/11856/plgfmz96sbk_ownman.pdf https://www.google.com/search?q=ES510+Frigidaire+Gas+Range%2C+no+power ..

Frigidaire FGID2466QF7A dishwasher touchpad non-responsive

I called Frigidaire with these codes. They said it indicates a power failure happened (during a wash cycle, I suppose) and to do a hard reset. A hard reset is turning off the breaker for 30+ minutes and then flipping the breaker back on. This kind of worked, but simultaneous to the error codes, the push/pull latch on my dishwasher got set to the closed position while the door was open, so the door would not latch. I feel that this was the initial problem that caused these codes. So in my case, I had to manually rotate the latch open with bent piece of wire, to get it into the correct position first. Then the hard reset seemed fix the error codes. I was able to start a wash. It's running now.

Frigidaire FFLE3911QW0 combo washer/dryer is starting and locking then it won't do anything else. Please someone help!?!

There are a couple of videos and text based articles in the link, plus disassembly. I would check connection on the control board connections and those on the lid lock. The lock has to be functioning properly to operate. https://www.google.com/search?q=Frigidaire+FFLE3911QW0+combo+washer%2Fdryer+is+starting+and+locking ..

Frigidaire heavy duty super capacity 2 speed combonation sometimes goes through cycle fine but mostly continuously fills and drains at start S.N. XE32103237 - FEZ831CAS2

All front loading washers will fill and drain multiple times before it finishes. Unlike a top loader, a front loading washer will take longer to run because there is no agitator and will fill with water and drain multiple times. A front loader is more energy efficient than a Traditional top loading washing machine. A washer dryer combo will take hours to complete a cycle.

Any idea on how to fix my double wall oven?

That doesn't sound good and is likely to be a Control Board issue. Turn it off tonight at the breaker and turn it back on in the morning. That is the closest you will get to a Reset. The light in the oven is just a simple switch connected to the door hinge.

Ice melting in ice maker. Frigidaire Model JBND-26 ice maker

Ice Maker Is Frozen Up This ice maker repair is even easier. If your ice maker has frozen up, take the following steps to thaw it out: 1Unplug the refrigerator.Remove the ice bin from the refrigerator and remove any loose ice from the ice maker. 2Find the fill tube. This is awhite rubber-like hose that delivers water to the ice maker. Pull down the small metal clip off the housing that holds the fill tube (though not all ice makers have this clip). 3Warm the hoseand surrounding mechanism. To do this, you can train a hair dryer on the ice maker to melt any ice blocking the mechanism. But be very careful (sop up any dripping water with a rag) as electricity and water can present a serious risk of electrical shock. Also, be careful not to melt the plastic parts. 4If you don't want to use a hair dryer, you can soak the supply tubing with hot water, using a turkey baster and catching the overflow in the empty ice maker bin. In some cases, it may be easier to remove the ice maker than to thaw out the fill tube. On heat release ice makers You will want to check the heating element within the ice maker for continuity and a visual inspection of the board and conductors for burns and seizing, chared marks. How to Test the Ice Mold Heater There are two types of ice makers, those in which all of the parts can be individually replaced and those in which some of the parts are clustered together into a control module. To determine which model you have remove the outer face plate. If there is knob, pull it off first, then pry off the face plate with a small screwdriver. Modular units have holes in the module's face plate for test probes. If you see several holes, each marked with a letter, it is a modular unit. It is easier to work on this type of unit by first removing the entireicemakerfrom the freezer compartment. The unit is usually mounted to the freezer case by two or more screws. Remove the bottom screws first. While supporting the ice maker, remove the remaining top screws. Unplug the ice maker from the freezer cabinet if you have not already done so. Along the edge nearest the shutoff arm, a pin protrudes through the mounting plate . The arm pin has a spring under the mounting plate. Reduce the tension on the spring by moving the shutoff arm into the "on" position, down, against the ice maker. Test the heater for resistance using amultitester. Set the multitester to the ohms setting X1. Touch one probe to each of the two terminals (or wires). The reading should be in the range of 60 to 90 ohms. If you get a significantly different reading, such as zero or infinity, then the mold heater is bad and needs to be replaced. Conduct this test with the refrigerator unplugged. Test the moldheaterfor resistance using amultitester. Set the multitester to the ohms setting X1. Place one probe into the hole labeled "H" and the other probe into the hole labeled "L". The multitester should read in the range of 60 to 90 ohms. Also be sure to check and test water valve with a meter for continuity and voltage..( a full 120 and nothing less) And a visual inspection for any ice build up or blockage in tubing and flow line. Remember u may get a close circuit reading of continuity however it may still be bad in that it may remain constantly closed and water keeps flowing more than suppose to. Hence chunks of ice build up. : God is the reason I give you free advice so God is good! http://www.appliancerepair.net/refrigerator-repair-1.html ice maker water level adjustment ice maker-undefined-undefined-0.jpg ice-maker-how-it-works-undefined-undefined-1.jpg
