Not all models support changing the temperature units. If your refrigerator has a button labeled C/F. Try pressing that to toggle back to Fahrenheit. This is likely due to a lack of airflow. Make sure that the air filter is clean and that there are no obstructions blocking the air intake or exhaust vents. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to have a technician come out and inspect the unit for any other potential issues.

Not 100%certain to what styrofoam you are referring to but there is definitely styrofoam components inside the machine. The entire drain pan is made of styrofoam, I would not touch it.

Have you drained the water?

The blower wheel probably is dirty. The unit is sensing that not enough air is flowing across the AC coil.

Mine is doing the same but it's very moldy and dirty. It worked well when we used it for the first month when we moved into our Gma's house. She left the unit. It's old yes but it worked fine before. Why is this happening? I'm going to clean it, but I have NO IDEA HOW TO GET IT OUT OF ITS CASE! HELP

did you clean it with water? They don't mix. Use a hairdryer to dry thoroughly.

I understand that the compressor continues to run after your Frigidaire air conditioner has turned off. From that information it sounds like there could be a possible issue within your control panel or relay. I would recommend a reset on the appliance, to perform a reset unplug the power cord you will see a test button, push that button and you will hear a click. You would then press the reset button you will hear a click again signifying that the appliance has been reset. Then plug your air conditioner back in. Centigrade is much easier. Fridge at 3'C and Freezer at minus 18'C. Freezing is 0' and boiling is 100'. Is this an electric unit or does it run on fuel?

on the plugin is there a reset button. if so reset it.

thats normal its showing ambient when you lower it the number will change to the setting and then will go back to show what the ambient temp as the room gets cooler the temp number will go down and shut off at set temp

Friedrich window units should reset by pressing both the up & down temp buttons simultaneously. Had this issue for a while until I finally called the help center. For some reason couldn't find this info anywhere online. Hope this helps !

Good Afternoon Friend, I understand that your Frigidaire air conditioner, model# FRA124HT2, begins with a constant beeping, and changes the modes itself, about every 30 minutes. I also see that it ends up on a different setting each time it does this. I suggest resetting your air conditioning, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker for 3-5 minutes. Bring power back to it and turn it on.
