Fisher & Paykal Dishwasher. I need to replace the heating element on the top draw of my dishwasher. How do I remove the plastic covering on the underside of the draw to access the heating plate?

F2 error code on a Fisher & Paykel dishdrawer DS605. We have replaced the rotor motor with a new one, but the error code will not go away. Drainage hose was also split and has been replaced.

I have a Fisher paykel late model Dwk60 dishwasher, that keeps getting the error code E30, flood switch activated with the alarm and won't reset, I found online that you tilt the machine backwards
You have to turn the power off, clean that cesspool drain area thoroughly, dry all around the door seal, and tip dishwasher backwards. Then the flood switch resets and the E30 error disappeared for me.

So i have a fisher pykal double drawer dishwasher. The top drawer doesnt work. Still has power...but doesnt make the chime when u pull it open. No code is being trown. Doesnt start gives a chime that says...to bad...help
Although I'm not familiar with this model, it sounds like a switch is stuck or misaligned. With most electronic things, there's a physical toggle switch (sometimes 2 magnetic points, similar to a window security system) located somewhere along the drawers tracks or latch or at the back. Try to find it and see if it still freely moves. If it does than most likely the switch has failed and needs replacement. Hope this helps and good luck!

Hello, I own a Fisher Paykel DD24DCW7 dishwasher that keeps coming up with a U6 error message. I have already purchased a new spray arm and a new motor and the message still appears. According to FP’s website, the only thing it could be is the water pressure. How does one go about changing the water pressure for this model? I’ve accessed the options adjustment mode by holding the start/pause and lock buttons but nothing I’ve seen describes what to do next. Additionally, after pressing the power button, codes FO, HC, CC come up and I’m not sure what these codes mean as they’re not listed in the manual.Any help is greatly appreciated.
I think the first thing I would do is ensure you have good pressure at the water inlet and the filters in the hoses are clear. After that, I think the water pump comes into question. OR a hose has de-laminated inside and has caused a flow restriction.

The F1 error on a Fisher and Paykel dishwasher means the flood switch was activated for seven seconds or longer. ... The dishwasher's flood switch could activate because the water is leaking around the heater plate. It would still eventually show up somewhere, though a leak like that would kill the heater plate too.

maybe circuit breakers trip from excessive current and poor insulation or moisture around electrical contacts call in an electrician to test the unit first and then repair / replace what is found to be faulty remember that the power point for the unit may also be on the house circuit that is having a problem unit somewhere else that is causing the fault

If the panel display on the lower drawer is lit and you can select the program then most likely the water inlet valve is fault and needs replacement. But if the panel is dark and none of the buttons operate then the power to the drawer is cut off. This can be due to a number of reasons including the power board at the base loosing one power circuit or the thermal fuse in the drawer is blown. Please provide model number of dishdrawer unit and also please describe what is actually happening.

When we turn the garbage disposal on the water backs up into the fisher Paykel dishwasher. What do we need to do to fix this?
Replumb the outlet for the dishwasher into a different drainpipe. The installer put your dishwasher outlet onto your garbage grinder outlet. If there is only one drain pipe under your sink then things get difficult. You can try to lift the outlet hose from the washing machine a little bit but that might cause problems in your dishwasher. A backflow valve on your dishwasher outlet might work if there is one available. Check you drain is not blocked slighty (highly likely with a garbage disposal) and causing back pressure. Draino; Boiling Hot water; bicarb and vinegar, Was it working properly a while ago?
