Need Fisher Paykel DD603 SS-USA repair manual
Downloaded operator manual from fisherpaykel.com. This is not the repair manual I sought.
I was able to fix problem of top lid not clearing drawer by removing drawer, lubricating rubber gaskets, slides, and hoses with Armor All, then reassembling and cycling the timer at 12 minutes.
The lid then opened fully and did not hang up.

Fisher and Paykel DS603 no power
Hi,
There is a thermo fuse in this unit and it can cause the controller not to power up. It is located on the heater plate, if the unit got too hot this will cause this fuse to blow and cause not power to the controller to a singe drawer unit only, this would not shut down both drawer though. This fuse is not replaceable other than replacing the plate itself. Get back to me if you need part numbers and I can get them for you or you can call Fisher and Pakel directly and they are 24 hours a day service call center. The plate is tricky to replace and you will have to change both seals at the same time, not real pricey though.
I hope this helps, keep the unit, its a good dishwasher.. Good Luck I’m happy to help further over the phone at

F1 code
F1 is a flood sensor fault code. The problem sometimes comes from loading the machine above the top of the drawer. When the inside lid comes down before the dishwasher starts, it cannot seal completely and water can spray into the outer cavity. The water accumulates in the inner bottom where there is a sensor. The sensor protects the electronic components from getting wet by warning you of the water which you cannot see. The solution is to remove the bottom drawer and wipe out, then dry the compartment with a fan or a small space heater. Once dry, the machine will function as usual.

Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher leaked
From what you describe, drain water from the top drawer is getting into the bottom drawer or waste water from the disposer is backing up into the bottom drawer.
1. Each drawer has its own drain hose. Each hose should terminate at the drain point with a 'Y' adapter.
2. Inspect the drain point (under the sink where the drain pipes are) to make sure this 'Y' adapter is present. (you should see two drain hoses from the DW). If not present, then the DW drain lines are not installed properly. (Someone took a shortcut and installed the 'Y' adapter behind the DW)
3. If terminated properly, make sure the drain hoses extend upward as they leave the drain point.
It is important the drain lines are connected properly to ensure proper drainage from the DW. Consult the installation manual for complete details.
