PS-79C Issue was the bin light came on (when the bin was out), but the power wouldn't come on and no other lights. Just called the 800 number above (800-945-4545) and was told to jiggle the power switch - worked!! (The power switch on the top, not the one by the power cord). I guess it doesn't quite seat onto the internal circuit board switch quite right. Yay, working again! Then I got lectured to oil it once a month or every bin full, which I haven't been doing...

Your shredder may not be set on automatic feed.

The "page in" sensor may be blocked by an "invisible" shard of paper.

It could be indicating that the shredding mechanism is jammed

I have a Royal 100x and it does not use an IR sensor like other shredders. Mine uses a mechanical sensor and it sticks in the on position. It seems like the plastic that pushes on the metal switch contacts, hangs on the edge of the metal. I am seeing if I can modify the contact somehow so it will slide off of it but no luck yet.

Access to laminators is always from underneath.. Sometimes the screws are hidden under the rubber feet inserts. I have never known anyone need to clean the rollers, and have never seen cleaning wipes! Are you sure they are for a laminator? The rollers are heated and teflon coated, they don't need cleaning and as they only see the carrier or a plastic laminating sheet, they don't get dirty.
