My Fellowes Shredder B-121C runs for 2 seconds bursts -- repeatedly. It still shreds paper but it takes a long time. What could be causing this problem?

Seems kin to a printing press from the 1800s. You may have hit on the problem; if you can access the cap. you suspect, try to read the value on it ??uF/??VDC or Volts with AC attached. Check any caps you can see for a domed (swollen) top, these will be DC types. Use the comment function to reply so the thread sticks together.

Auto shred will not stop after page has been shredded

On a small shredder, you should see a small lever that is attached to a switch. Give them both a shot of WD40.

Broken off DB-0812D mini-transformer from PS 67Cs

Purchase a 220/240 volt to 15.6/15.6 volt transformer and run flying wires as it will probably be larger in physical size.I used a M7230 from Aztronics/Altronics.Silicon the transformer in place to stop it falling apart while in its place.

Powershred 99Ci. Does it have a reset button?

No, but there is an interlock that ensures the collection bin is fully inserted. https://assets.fellowes.com/manuals/99Ci_409366%20090215%20FS%201L.pdf

My Fellowes PS-79Ci Shredder will not turn on.

PS-79C Issue was the bin light came on (when the bin was out), but the power wouldn't come on and no other lights. Just called the 800 number above (800-945-4545) and was told to jiggle the power switch - worked!! (The power switch on the top, not the one by the power cord). I guess it doesn't quite seat onto the internal circuit board switch quite right. Yay, working again! Then I got lectured to oil it once a month or every bin full, which I haven't been doing...

Our Fellowes C480 will not pull the paper in to shred. The motor runs and sounds normal, but the paper doesn't feed in. Any suggestions?

More than likely your gear is stripped. Depending on what you paid for it it might not be worthwhile.

Where is the sensor on a royal shredder

I have a Royal 100x and it does not use an IR sensor like other shredders. Mine uses a mechanical sensor and it sticks in the on position. It seems like the plastic that pushes on the metal switch contacts, hangs on the edge of the metal. I am seeing if I can modify the contact somehow so it will slide off of it but no luck yet.
