My Estate washer ETW4400WQ1 will only work with hot water, no cold.

Sounds like you need a water inlet valve. The solenoid on the cold part of the valve isn't letting water in. And it stops at the rinse cycle and won't advance because the rinse cycle uses the cold water side only and if it dies not fill with cold water it will not advance. That will fix your problem

Estate Washer. Where do I find serial and model numbers on it please.

Question edited for clarity. Wrong type of cereal (breakfast). Never heard of an 'Estate Washer' before, but seems to be Maytag or Whirlpool. The hide the model and serial numbers in a few places. Look where the wire enters the machine, look behind the control panel or just inside the lid. The even hide them behind the bottom kickplate. With a rear console control panel, there is often information for engineers in a plastic bag. https://www.google.com/search?q=estate+washer+model+number+location

The washer only fills halfway

Has it always done this or just recently? Some washers have lower rinse fills then spray the water on the clothes as it goes through its cycle.

Where is the filter on the Estate washer ETW4400XQ0?

I can't find the user manual for this particular Whirlpool washer And manuals of a similar model number don't mention the filter location. The customer service phone number at Whirlpool is 1 800 253 1301 and they would want that model number to help. I thought this had a self cleaning filter. Sadly, lint filters may be in quite a variety of locations: https://www.mrappliance.com/blog/2017/march/the-washers-lint-trap-needs-cleaning-too/ https://www.familyhandyman.com/article/wheres-my-washing-machine-filter-and-do-i-really-need-to-clean-it/

I have an Estate washer model #Etw4400wq0 and the cold water is not coming on. I've checked the filter and it wasn't clogged. Any suggestions?

It depends on how deep you want to go with troubleshooting. The inlet valves are electrically controlled and it could be the valve that failed or the control board. Could be a loose connection. Whirlpool WPW10144820 Water Inlet Valve Assembly - AppliancePartsPros.com

The agitator on my estate heavy duty super capacity washer only moves in one direction causing the clothes to tangle around it. It doesn't have a belt. What would the issue be?

With no model number it is impossible to be precise. First check the easy (and cheap) possibilities. The agitator has small plastic pawls (dogs) inside the upper agitator half that ratchet around the notched ring on the lower agitator half. You can see these if you pull the fabric softener cup, remove the agitator retainer bolt and lift off the upper agitator assembly. Agitator dogs (a set of 4) should be $4 to $6. (This assumes your model has a two piece agitator.) Otherwise, is is likely the neutral assembly is broken or stuck. A small part, but difficult to access - located between the outer tub and transmission top. This type of repair is beyond many folks having limited tools and knowledge.

The outer tub ring on

Large items should be taken to the laundromat. Home machines are not made for that kind of bulk. Warranty will not cover consumer mis-use.

I have an estate washing machine. After it has went throughout the regular and light cycle it stops at the cool down. It never starts back up.

Sounds like you have a bad spot in the timer. Replace the timer.

I have an estate washer that seems to be having issues with the spin cycle. It spins but doesn't take all the water out.

Odds are your pump is bad. Check to see if it's leaking under the washer. If it's spinning & still has water left in the drum..You need a new pump.

My whirlpool. Estate 8cycle super capacity. It filled to wash as soon as it filled and began washing it had a low pitch whining.which stopped after wash cycle. What dose that mean?

Probably something hung up in water pump that still allows it to turn but rubs against impeller.
