The clicking and humming is an indication that the compressor is faulty.needs replacement

Could be a faulty theremostat

Check the condenser is clean, and you can hear the compressor humming. Also check the door shuts properly

is your fridge working or is the compressor running.

Hi Joanne Wow, Is that an open question..... How long is a piece of string... I get what you mean though... Only your Engel Service Dept knows for sure. They see the returns. Does it have a compressor or is it based on Heating Elements like an RV Fridge. If you can hear the compressor running inside, you will know. Compressors don't like being tipped on their side. I have 1 fridge & 1 Freezer in the back storage room that have been running for thirty years. But I don't think they make em like that any more. Look after it. Keep the vents clear & hope for the best. Cheers

If the gas is not passing the press down valve your valve is faulty and should be replaced you should also replace the thermo coupler which goes down to sense the flame in case the flame goes out it shuts off the gas. You should not attempt to replace this valve yourself and should get a qualified gas engineer.

Does it ever actually reach the temp set? It may just need cleaning and a service so it cuts out at the right temp.

If it is not shutting off at all then there may be an issue with frost build-up or possibly air leaking by the seal on the lid. If it does cycle on and off then the temperature set-point is being reached and the control may have drifted.
