Unlock code for volvo cd/radio
To unlock the radio, enter the four-digit
security code found on the removable
label.
If the code is entered incorrectly, you
can try 2 more times. After 3 incorrect
entries, the radio will display “LOCK.”
You must turn the radio off, while leaving
the ignition and battery on, for 1
continuous hour before attempting to
unlock the radio again.

2009 Dodge Journey 6 disc
12-18-2019
I own a 2009 DODGE JOURNEY with a 6 DISC CHANGER - HARD DISC DRIVE (which is also a panel holding the Bluetooth, GPS, Time, Set-up, and Radio controls) that STOPPED READING DISCS two months ago. I have taken immaculate care of every aspect of this vehicle.
The problem is not dirty, scratched, or damaged DISCS.
The problem is not DISCS jammed in there.
I have long-since emptied it.
The problem is it won't read the DISCS.
Any suggestions? I'm looking for a used assembly/unit of the same thing to replace it with. But, I'd rather just have it fixed or just work. Everything else works fine. Just not the DISC player in any way whatsoever.
Any suggestions, links, etcetera would be much appreciated.
Thank you! : )

Honda CRV Radio Code Error
My car (2005 Honda CRV) was shipped overseas and the radio asked for a code. After several tries, I searched the internet for a solution. Apparently Honda now allows you to obtain the code through their provided website. You will need the VIN #, the phone number and zip code that is on file when you purchased the car. Our car was purchased used and did not come with a manual. When I went to enter the code in I had already entered too many tries, now it reads ERROR E.
However, even before having the code (as well as now that it reads ERROR E) I can get the radio working. Push in preset buttons 1 and 6 and push in the power button simultaneously. A long number appears - at that point I pushed preset button 2 and the radio operated normally. Unfortunately, I do need to do this each time I turn the radio on.

What is the Q-Factor and where should it be set??
The Q factor does have to do with tones and pitches of your music. This determines a Quality factor of how pitches are placed (high tones, low tones, and mid tones) and using the Q factor will use a preset setting to put the tones at a high proformance audio.
Simple test and trick for you.
- Put in your favorite cd.
- Turn on the Q factor
- Play a song and listen to it for atleast 45 seconds
- turn off the Q factot
- Play that same song for atleast 45 seconds
- Now you determine if the quality used by the Q factor is better or worse
For some songs that have close pitch audio, it may not be as noticeable, so you can repeat and test. Give it a try, because then you can understand it more by hearing then reading. Its all about how you want it to sound. Good luck
Thank You
