I WANT TO LAY THE PC DOWN ON ITS SIDE AND SET THE
would not recommend it but if the tower is very sturdy and doesn't have a flimsy cover it should hold the wait of the monitor without any problem just make sure not to set the monitor on the side where the mother board is because it may damage it if any kind of flexing is done in that area

I have an emachineEL1200. unfortunately it did not
Your best bet is call a tech to remove them or order a restore disk on ebay. If you tell me the name of the program that is popping up I may be able to point you in the direction of removing it. You can try a program called Malwarebytes go to there website and download the software do the 14 day trial and run the scan see if that will remove it if not you will have to do other more technical actions

Emachines forgot password WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM
You Need To open The CPU(Or tower) to acces the motherboard, the you need to find the CMOS jumper and switch it one spot over the CLR or clear, that will clear the password. If that don't work remove the battery on the motherboard for few seconds then reinstall it. Good luck.
Defragment el1352 eMachine
Modern computers don't need their hard disk to be defragmented.
Perhaps you better try to clean up your disk and registry, with a program like Ccleaner. Don't forget ti install Microsoft Security Essentials, to keep the viruses out. When you have memory problems, please also check the Hard disk for errors with property and Extra, now check.

Partition 2 to 1
Short answer, yes you can with the right software.
As long as your data does not fill up the hard drive partition.
I use partition wizard and use the resize then click apply.
You can clearly see where the data starts and the free space after.
Just do not resize into the data. And do not change the Primary partition. During the resizing you may have to set the new space to logical so the machine can see this partition. You may also have UN-allocated space after the resizing. You can format this to your choice. Select the the same format as your primary. You can do all of this before hitting the Apply button. The commands you give are stored as a script and launched in the order you selected them.
Link for partition wizard below. Read carefully before performing this on you machine hard drive. Be safe and back up the machine.

How do i rip and burn a dvd? model el1210 e
Put a blank recordable dvd in the dvdrom and close the drive. You should get a pop up that asks you what you want to do? it should give you options like open file, record dvd ect. Close this pop up and go to the file and/or movie you want to rip to the dvd and right click on top of it with your mouse. You will get a drop down list with many options - choose send this to and choose your dvd player and this will send the move to your recording software to burn your dvd. You will see a pop up message on the bottom right side of your screen near your clock that says "you have files to write". click on the messge and then choose burn.
