I've only had this toilet for a year. This
Make sure the water shut off valve is on. Turning to the right shuts it off so turn it to the left. Maybe one of the kids shut off the water stranger things have happened. Check your supply tube also it could be stuck especially if you have hard water in your area.
The water in my toilet leaks away & then water
Hello,
Foreign debris is lodged under the valve's seal. Debris may consist of
calcium deposits, minute pieces of corroded pipe, rocks, rubber,
solder, etc. that are carried by the water stream to the seal area,
where they become trapped. Some well systems without a filter
constantly circulate debris.
Then the way out to solve this problem
Shut off the water supply and remove the Valve cap (Model 400A: lift
arm first) by rotating 1/8 turn counterclockwise.
Cover the opening
with an inverted cup, and turn water on and off a few times. This
should flush and remove water line debris. Turn cap over and clean seal
surface by rinsing under running water.
Replace cap (400A: lift arm
first) by rotating clockwise. Turn on water. In the case of well water
supplies, the best long-term solution is a filter. Please rate this if it help.
Thank you and thanks for using fixya.

Hello.I live in an older
you have debris in the flush valves. if they are older toilets, I would replace the flush valves. you can get the eljer fill valves from your local plumbing wholesaler.
The water kept running after finished flushing and
Hi,
Either you did not get the right flapper or you have a crack that is letting the water through even though the flapper is sealed...
Cracks can be very hard to identify, but if the flapper is sealing good then that's your problem...

Toilet will fush but nothing
plunge it first ,, if after this your still having the same problem, you may have to remove the toilet and check to see that nothing has gone into the J trap in the toilet itself, toothpaste caps,, and other objects will allow a snake or plunging to work,, but the problem still happens due to an object that will slide to the side and then go back one the snake has been removed

Sewer oder from toilet replaced wax ring dident
The wax ring would only help if the toilet wasn't sealed to the drain. Is the odor coming up through the toilet? If so then your water level must be low in the bowl, allowing the trap to be open to air. Make sure the little hose from the fill valve is dumping into the overflow. This helps make sure the toilet stays full, when refilling.

I have several eljer canterbury toilets with
Hi Guy they have a hole in the flapper with air pocket that casues them a problem, you can buy aa flapper wth a chain on it that has a float on the back of the flapper valve so you can adjust it to work right. my experince has been to put the float right up aagainst the back side of the flapper. they cost $3.99 at any hardware store.
I need instructions to install high performance flush parts.
The ball **** is still used with the handle the fill vaalve is a circuler float that goes threw the bottom of the tank you twist the shat to rase the folat high enought to get the water to fill to desired flush level then install washer and water hose on the bottom, then turn water on and watch that the tank does not overfill if it starts to turn the water off flush the tolite and turn the valve counter clock wise to lower it, there is a rod conneted to the float that can be screwed up or down to adust it.
