I can't get my element monitor to work
First, check the power and connection of the monitor. If everything is connected correctly, try restarting the monitor and computer. If this doesn't work, try connecting the monitor to a different port, such as HDMI or VGA. If that doesn't work, then you may have a defective monitor or video card. If this is the case, you may need to replace the monitor or video card.

I have a elchw321 model. I get a picture, but no sound

I don't know if this only an online reference or whther it's available as download.
If your computer has an HDMI o/p just connect that, this should supply video and audio. If not you will have to connect the aufio and video using separate leads. Note what it says about not all computer equipment being compatible with your monitor

WHY MY TV WONT STAY POWERD ON
Most modern electronic devices, have safety switches. When something is getting to hot, or needs to much current, or gets an over voltage, it will cause the power to shut down. Sometimes just a defective capacitor or a semiconductor will do the same. Like most doctors can't tell what is wrong, unless they see the patient, it is almost impossible to tell you what is wrong, without seeing the thing myself.
Perhaps you ask a repair shop close to you, what it will cost to do the diagnose and what it will cost to repair?
Why does message come up no media device
Look in the manual that came with the TV.
It will tell you that you are trying to get a signal from a device that is NOT hooked up to your TV. You probably need to go to 'Input' with your remote, and work it so the 'Input' shows Cable, or Satellite, or DVR or whatever sends the signal to your TV.
The TV is smart enough to know there is no signal coming from the currently selected input.

The TV needs to be told what input is being used for both audio and video
