My Electrolux washing machine is blinking red with no time separator, can you help diagnose the problem. my model number is EWM09312
Here are some steps you can follow to try and identify the issue:
Check the Door: The start button on your Electrolux washer may start blinking if the door to the washer is not closed properly. Try opening and closing the door again to see if the button stops blinking.
Error Code Display: If the light only appears red, you can try the following manipulation to display the error code:
Turn on your washing machine
Simultaneously press the start button and the one to its left, usually the "end of cycle" button
After a few seconds, the error code should be displayed
Service Manual: For a more comprehensive diagnosis, you might want to refer to the service manual for your specific model.
It contains a guide to diagnostics of electronic controls and troubleshooting based on alarm codes.

My Electrolux Epic 6500 SR will not turn off by
WOW !!! Finally You are dead on, absolutely 100%.... good work!!!.
Get only a genuine new switch button with spring from an AERUS Electrolux dealer and reinstall.
Then carefully reassemble the entire body and wiring harness.
Congratulations getting there.... you rate as an honorary technical genius in my book,...Your wife should be bragging about you to her friends. I am genuinely impressed and I`ve been fixing these since 1990. I bow in your presence.
PS while youre in there, check the rocker for evidence of fatigue, it is the more common issue

I have an Electrolux pedestal that the drawer won't latch. The model# is EPWD15SS1. What would be the part number for the strike and latch?
As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, I don't have real-time access to specific part numbers for appliances. However, I can guide you on how to find the part numbers for the strike and latch for your Electrolux pedestal.
- Check the Electrolux Website:
- Visit the official Electrolux website or the support section.
- Look for a "Parts & Accessories" or "Service and Parts" section.
- Enter your model number (EPWD15SS1) to find a parts diagram or list for your specific appliance.
- Contact Electrolux Customer Support:
- Reach out to Electrolux customer support directly. They can provide you with information on the parts you need.
- Have your model number (EPWD15SS1) ready when contacting them.
- Appliance Parts Retailers:
- Check with authorized Electrolux parts retailers or appliance parts stores. Many of them have online platforms where you can search for parts using your model number.
- Appliance Repair Centers:
- Local appliance repair centers may be able to assist you in identifying and obtaining the correct latch and strike for your Electrolux pedestal.
- User Manual:
- If you still have the user manual that came with your Electrolux pedestal, check the manual for information on replacement parts, including part numbers.
Remember to double-check the compatibility of the identified parts with your specific model EPWD15SS1. Model numbers and part designs can vary, so it's crucial to ensure that you get the right components for your appliance.
If you're unable to find the information online or through customer support, contacting a local appliance repair professional or a certified Electrolux service technician may be beneficial for assistance in identifying and obtaining the correct parts.

Electrolux manuals
The owner's manuals for the Electrolux (now Aerus) B-8, B-9 (Floor Pro and similar models), and the TriStar ProStar shampooer (same machine as the Floor Pro) have just been uploaded.
Replace belt on Electrolux Epic 2500 SR Upright
1. Start by removing the screws that secure the bottom plate of your vacuum. 2. Once the bottom plate is removed, you will find the belt inside, as well as the belt pulley and drive wheels. 3. Disconnect the belt from the belt pulley. 4. Align the new belt over the belt pulley and drive wheels so that the teeth of the belt match up with the grooves on the pulley. 5. Wrap the belt around the pulley and drive wheels, and then reattach the belt to the pulley with the supplied clips. 6. Reassemble the vacuum and you're done!
